Aging is Everything: Give Aging the Bird, Not that Bird

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I don’t believe in anti-aging.  I believe it is a privilege to age and am pro-aging. I feel that we need to help re-write how to age properly for younger generations.  It’s not something to be feared and we need to embrace it.

Having vitality as we age is key to being strong and active; and having positive energy.

I am working with a brand I’m excited to share with you, Great Lakes Wellness.  They are celebrating 100 years of heritage this year, so of course they are pro-aging.  They are helping spread positive attitudes towards aging with their #GiveAgingTheBird campaign.  And no, #notTHATbird, the bird in their product logo, that symbolizes the freedom to age on your own terms and love yourself at every age.  Here is a link to their video about this great campaign.

I started my blog when I turned 50 and let my silver hair shine through.  I received backlash and feedback about it making me look old.  I wanted to help other women embrace themselves whatever their hair color as well as the aging process.  I continue to give aging the bird by staying active, doing fun activities (like go cart riding), and living with vitality.  It truly beats the alternative.

Watch me give aging the bird here and more on my story here. This blog post is sponsored by Great Lakes Wellness.
