Hope your week has been a good one. Mine was busy and hence why only one blog post. I am finalizing a new website for our business and so excited for the finished product. Wednesday night I had book club and we reviewed “ Next Year in Havana” by Chanel Cleeton. We all loved it as well as the Mojitos that my friend Kris served. She was thoughtful enough to serve the sugar separately! Yesterday, I worked with a new client on her wardrobe styling and we went shopping. We had so much fun and she loved everything we found and she was thrilled that everything was on sale. She gave me a five star reviewed which made me so happy. And then last night was a pre-season Panther game which we usually don’t go to but did and let’s just say it was a “hot mess” and so was I by the end of the evening.

This pretty dress is actually called “Mark Your Calendar,” by NIC +Zoe. I love that it incorporates, art and is both playful and feminine. It will be on repeat this fall with a black, rust or wine colored blazer. I am wearing large black and gold earrings by Primaura and my cuff is from my closet and have had it for ages. I really feel this dress although simple makes a statement, don’t you.

We are getting ready for Labor Day at the beach with our Carolina and Texas kids and cannot wait. Although 10 people, 6 adults and 5 grand babies (under 6) in a three bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house may seem like a lot to you… we make due and everyone is always thrilled to be together. Do you have any Labor Day plans?

As always thanks for popping by,
