Ageless Style: Swinging Into the New Year

I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. After Christmas,I took some time off and spent it at our beach house. The weather was beautiful.

I wish we would have spent more time on the beach but we are remodeling a main bath which took our time. I will share some pics once we get a bit closer to being done.

We did get to run out to Bluffton one day and if you have never been to Bluffton, SC I highly recommend it. It is a very quaint and eclectic town that sits beside the May River. Bluffton definitely provides for some scenic views, fun shopping and great dining. We visited a new distillery, Burnt Church and really enjoyed the drinks.

I happened upon this fun swing (beside the river) and waited till all the young children were done and hopped on. It was a bit akilter but I still enjoyed my ride. It brought me back to how much I enjoyed swinging as a child… and still do.

I am wearing a fun top/tunic from Free People. I don’t usually shop at Free People but recently saw a woman my age wearing a cute top from there so I decided to investigate. I actually found this yellow floral and another that I love. Going to put this store on my rounds.

I don’t know about you but I have made some New Years goals/intentions or resolutions (or whatever you want to call them). And first on the list was to embark on a dry January. UGH. So boring but alcohol is not my figures friend so decided to give it up for at least a month or more. I will save the rest of my goals for another post.

Happy New Year to you and may you find the time to enjoy a swing in 2022.
