Stye Ideas: Comfortable And Stylish Boots At Any Age

Today I am joining two friends to talk about boots for women over 50. Let me introduce Jennifer from a Well Styled Life and Cindy Hattersley from Cindy Hattersley Design. Both women are fun, wise and make me wish we lived in the same city. Hopefully our boots will cross paths in the future.

At 63, I want to continue being stylish but… I also like comfort. I find myself wearing low heeled boots and booties quite often these days due to how comfortable they are. Fortunately, I have avoided feet problems but know that so many women and followers have that issue. I do believe that low heeled booties can dress up a look or make it more casual. So follow along.

My Go to Bootie:

I have worn these fun booties for 2 years and with a little black “boot” polish they keep on giving. I wear them with maxi dresses, skirts and any kind of pant. I feel the style is very classic. In fact, in the fall and winter, I wear these with almost every outfit. They are pull on but my high in-step makes them a little challenging depending on what socks I wear. These booties are Louis et Cie and I have linked similar below. They were a Nordstrom Rack find.

My Dressier Booties:

Black patent just says dressy to me. As you can see I wear these pretty much the same way; with long or midi skirts and recently wore them with black pants to a musical for a dressier vibe. These also have elastic on the side and are easy to pull on. These are by Dolce Vita.

My Version of Combat Booties:

I like the lug sole look but it’s just not for me, although, I did try to convince myself. Soon after this internal debate, I found these classic lace up booties (with an inside zipper) on sale, and I ordered them immediately. These boots are by Sam Edelman and I am always pleased with the quality of this brand.

Leopard Booties:

These booties are fun and stylish and every single time I wear them people comment. These booties are by Diba True and my daughter always comments she is going to grab them. Lucky for me we are not the same shoe size. I mainly wear these with jeans but have worn them with a jean skirt and gray pants. They are the pair I throw on if its a mild day and want to take my look up a notch. Although not shown here, I suggest wearing these with ankle cut jeans due to the fun cut.

Cowgirl Boots:

Unfortunately, I have not styled mine lately but they are exactly the right color for me: Silver. My boots are Lariat and were a gift from my daughter in Texas. Love these surprisingly comfortable boots!

I have linked all of my booties below or as similar as I can find. As always, I may earn a small commission if you purchase from my shop.

Now I suggest you throw on your booties and head over to see how Cindy at Cindy Hattersley Design and Jennifer at A Well Styled Life have styled their booties and learn more about their style tips, too.
