Ageless Style: Black Mini Dress with my Daughter

I have had a busy couple of weeks. Texas and back and then on to caring for our Carolina grands while their parents enjoyed some R&R in Mexico and a 40th (surprise) birthday party for my son, Luke. As usual, I had so much fun at all of the above but extended myself a bit and caught something that had me down and out for a couple of days. I believe it is sinusitis but of course did my duty and got a COVID test to protect others around me. Thinking positive thoughts.

During my trip to Texas, my daughter Hannah and I had so much fun styling this beautiful black floral mini dress from Johnny Was. I told her to style it as her own, which she absolutely did. I loved the dress on her which shows her fun personal style. She added her favorite red cowgirl boots, and a leopard belt to accentuate her waist.

My approach was to show off the flow fit and I added my black cowgirl boots for a fun fall look. I plan to add my black bomber jacket when the temps drop a bit more in the cool, fall evenings.

This is the perfect dress for fall and winter and can be dressed up or down depending on your needs. I love it and so did my daughter.

This dress proves that style is personal and that women of all ages love Johnny Was (and can rock a mini dress).
