Feeling Comfortable in a Knit Dress

I was gifted this beautiful simple grey dress back in May. I fell in love with the ease of the knit and felt it would be a great addition to my wardrobe. The bonus is that it is one of my favorite brands, Johnny Was. This dress was a little different from their usual Boho styles but to me it was all about how comfortable it would be to wear!

It is now the first of August and why are you just now seeing it? Because once I received the dress, I did not feel comfortable in it. I was 10 pounds overweight and not loving the way I looked in it. I might have mentioned that I am on a journey to be my best self and I did not feel like I was. Now down 10 pounds (after 3 months), I feel like it is a much better fit and am feeling much more comfortable. The dress wears like a t-shirt and is very chic in a casual way.

I look forward to sharing this again in a few months, once I am down 20. So cheer me on. I have been working with a registered dietician, and one of the owners of the Coxon Clinic in Fort Mill, SC, Jaimie Coxon. More on her and the program later! But if you are in the area, I guarantee she can help you, especially if you are like me and find it difficult to lose weight.

I am off to the airport and will share more on my trip in my next post. Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by. Thank you for Johnny Was for sponsoring this post. I have included links below for the dress.
